Mermaids are my sons favorite mythological creature so I began painting him as a mermaid.  He loved these paintings so much they look wonderful framed and hanging on his wall next to his sleep portrait.    I began to paint more and more portraits of children’s dreamlike characters and it makes a great addition to a children’s bedroom.
